Breif introduction:

13B Coupler is developed on the base of 13A coupler and has been widely used in Chinese railway heavy load freight cars since 2007.

13B couplers have two acting type: upper acting and lower acting type. 13B couplers can be coupled with AAR hook couplers such as E coupler, E/F coupler, F coupler. Besides, 13B couplers could be also coupled with domestic couplers like No.16 couplers and No.17 couplers.

13B coupler is made of E grade low alloy cast steel. The coupler body’s min failure load is 4005KN, and the coupler knuckle’s 3430KN. The coupling clearance is 11.5mm, which can significantly improve the longitudinal dynamic performance of railway train. The coupler is complied with TB / T 456 standard.
